During one of the first chapter events of every program year, the children and teens of the Inglewood Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., stir and move us to join in the call for civil rights and social justice in the chapter’s celebration and remembrance of the legacy of Jill Carole Robertson.

Each children’s group perform presentations that recount the day and times the bombs rang out killing Carole and three other young girls and ushering in the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The day is truly an enriching experience for the children of all grade groups to learn of the struggles of the past and are inspired to be leaders for social justice today.
